So I’m not dead.

Hello.

It’s me.

(Thank you, Adele, for those amazingly inspirational lyrics.)

The Writing Process: That First Draft

Happy (cold and rainy) Sunday, everyone! Depending on where you are in the country, you’re probably feeling like this is the perfect day to stay in your pajamas, find the nearest roaring fireplace and sip on a continuous supply of coffee (or tea, if you roll that way). Here in Georgia, it hasn’t made it out of the 30s today and the clouds look like they’re about to unleash some rain. For me, that’s the recipe for a pretty awesome day!  Continue reading

Happy New Year! What’s to come for 2015

Good morning, everyone! Yes, I know it’s late morning, but it’s a holiday weekend and I’m entitled to some languid behavior.

I wanted to first and foremost wish everyone a (belated) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I was genuinely sad to see 2014 go. It was such an awesome year, what with me becoming an author and releasing my debut novel. Still a pretty surreal notion but one I’m getting more comfortable with.

The Writing Process: Coming Up With a Story

A website is not the best place to interact, and social media doesn’t do so well with length. So I hopped on WordPress and fashioned myself a nice and cozy gathering place for me, my thoughts and (hopefully) my readers.  Continue reading

Obligatory first post

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Sorry it’s not more exciting. Stay tuned, though, because this will be home to all book updates, writing process musings, and general 411 on me and what’s going on in my life.

My website is still a work in progress but should be live in the next few weeks. In the meantime, follow me on Facebook and Twitter for updates, things I feel like sharing, and occasional randomness.

I’m so excited to begin my journey as an author, and hope that I can convince you to tag along with me. Keep an eye out for an introductory post to my first book. It’s my baby and I’m very eager to introduce it to the world.

Cheers!
